THE RESORT AT PELICAN HILL APPOINTS PERSON GARCIA AS DIRECTOR OF LEISURE SALES
NEWPORT BEACH, CA – August 20, 2013 – The Resort at Pelican Hill® today announced the appointment of Person Garcia to the role of director of leisure sales. With more than 17 years of sales management experience in the luxury travel industry, Garcia will lead leisure sales for Newport Beach’s first and only Five-Star resort.

A natural and well-respected leader within the leisure travel industry, Garcia brings 20 years of extensive experience throughout North America in sales management, marketing, strategic planning and key account development. Garcia spent 17 years in cruise line sales management roles, most recently serving as vice president of sales for Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection in Los Angeles. Previously, he held management positions with Los Angeles-based Crystal Cruises, where he received the company’s Most Million Dollar Producers top sales award in 2009, and Norwegian Cruise Lines and Premier Cruise Lines in Florida.
Garcia graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He currently resides in Costa Mesa, California.
