    Jean Pierre Dubray, the Executive Chef of Pelican Hill and is among the most accomplished and recognized chefs in California.

    He is responsible for Pelican Hill’s culinary offerings, comprising three restaurants, two cafes, the Resort’s pastry and bakery operations; In-Room Dining to 128 Villas and 204 Bungalows, catering and special event services.

    Chef Dubray grew up in the kitchen of his family’s country house in France’s Loire Valley, where they produced much of their own food. He enjoyed helping his mother prepare big family meals and by the time he was 15, he had enrolled in culinary school, and decided it would be his life’s work.

    He came to the United States in 1980 when he had an opportunity to be part of the opening team for La Vie en Rose, a restaurant in Brea, Calif., and he has been in the Golden State ever since.

The Art of Pasta Making
Learn how to make traditional Italian egg-based pasta dough, as well as lobster tortelli and handmade spaghetti alla chitarra in the Andrea Ristorante pasta kitchen. Join our in-house pastaia on Wednesdays through Saturdays at 11 a.m. for one hour of hands-on instruction and a delicious two-course lunch…made by you!

Andrea, locally and nationally celebrated as one of the finest Italian restaurants, invites you to stop by Wednesdays through Sundays for a quick lunch. For just $28* per person, enjoy our two-course menu espresso (express menu) served in 45 minutes or less.

Chef Jonah’s Spring Symphony
Join Andrea Chef Jonah as he takes diners on an exceptional three-course prix fixe tour through Italy’s most famous regions. On Mondays through Wednesdays, he’ll create courses highlighting a specific Italian region and pair it perfectly with a complementary wine.

Clambake at Pelican Grill

We’re going New England nautical with our first annual clambake. Gather up a group of friends, and pull up a chair on the alfresco terrace as we serve up a summertime tradition.

Savor the best of Pelican Grill’s quintessential coastal California cuisine for lunch Mondays through Thursdays with a two-course menu served in 45 minutes or less. Choose from a seasonal selection to start, followed by a Napa-inspired main course. Available Mondays through Thursdays for $22* per person.

Burgers, Pizzas & Brews
On Mondays through Thursdays in the Pelican Grill Lounge, savor a $15 burger or pizza of your choice paired with a local craft beer.

Tea Moderno
On Fridays through Sundays from 2-4 p.m., the Great Room Social Lounge puts a modern twist on the time-honored tradition of gathering for Afternoon Tea. Sip contemporary blends featuring classic selections and emerging tea markets, while noshing savory and sweet Italian-inspired small bites. Tea-based cocktails and sparkling wines available à la carte.

On Sundays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Coliseum Pool & Grill, build your own Bloody Mary at Coliseum Pool & Grill. Select your level of spicy with an assortment of hot sauces, then garnish your beverage with flavored salts and favorite toppings, like bacon, jalapenos, pickles and bell peppers.
