Experience the Historical Beauty of Crystal Cove

We’ll set you up with everything you’ll need to enjoy the beach like a local, all that’s left is to kick back, explore and enjoy. And when hunger strikes, Crystal Cove has four charming options that offer great food, nostalgic vibes and panoramic views.

The Crystal Cove Beach Experience
Complimentary coach service, including a beach bag equipped with towels and water from Pelican Hill make for a seamless day. We’ll set you up with complimentary chairs & umbrellas, and other amenities will be available upon your arrival. During the summer, the coach departs from two Resort locations hourly from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Crystal Cove Beach
Below the Resort sits one of the most beautiful beaches the West Coast has to offer. Distinguished as a National Natural Landmark, its three miles of pristine beach are excellent for strolling and exploring the many tide pools, as well as a swim, surf or dive into the ocean.

Dining at Crystal Cove
The Beachcomber Café—a vintage beach house on the sand with a large ocean-view deck—and Bootlegger Bar are both charming places to relax, enjoy the view and soak up nostalgic vibes. In the summer there is also Beachcomber Express— a casual take-out place for grilled burgers, fresh salads and more. Perched up on the bluffs, Ruby’s Shake Shack has a casual menu and all outdoor seating to take in the panoramic views.

Crystal Cove Historic District
What was a fun escape from city life in the 1920s is now a charming place—and designated Historical Landmark—where cottages line the beach and feature rotating history and art exhibits, as well as a gift shop.

Crystal Cove Activities
There are ongoing events to enjoy all year long. Tide pool walks, sea glass jewelry making, surf fishing workshops and fun family hikes to name a few. Check out the calendar to get a listing of everything that is going on. crystalcovestatepark.org

Bluff-Top Trails
Crystal Cove Beach also features bluff-top trails for jogging, biking, hiking and walking with incredible views of the Pacific. Picnic tables are also available both by the bluffs and throughout the state park where most of the higher elevation jogging, hiking and biking trails begin.

Crystal Cove Bike Tours
Departing from the Resort, this fun-filled bike tour rides along the coastal bluff and offers breathtaking views of the Pelican Hill golf course and native wilderness. The tour also stops at the historical Crystal Cove cottages, Ruby’s Shake Shack and visits the tide pools along the beach.
