Plein Air painting, the practice of painting landscapes outdoors, became popularized by the French Impressionists at the turn of the 20th century and was embraced by California artists in the 1960s and continues today. This summer, the Resort welcomes artists from LCAD (Laguna College of Art and Design) to paint the incredible nature of Newport Coast at different locations on the property.
