We have implemented enhanced cleaning and health protocols that were designed with guidance from state and local officials and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and ensures protocols are in compliance with the highest industry standards.

  • Perched on 504 acres of unrivaled coastal space offering a sanctuary of seclusion and space to spread out. 
  • The resort’s natural setting and expansive grounds feature Tuscan-style neighborhoods, with beautifully-landscaped streets and outdoor hideaways to stroll and relax.
  • All Bungalows are private, standalone buildings, with no elevators or indoor corridors, and furnished outdoor terraces to soak in the ocean breeze. 
  • Villas are a private residence located in an exclusive gated enclave, including two, three, or four-bedrooms equipped with a private garage, fully-stocked chef’s kitchen and dining room, comfortable living room with fireplace, and expansive outdoor terrace. 
  • At Pelican Hill, meetings are more than a well-appointed boardroom, with plenty of open-air venues and outdoor space for blue-sky thinking, captivating ocean views, and space spacing.
  • Pelican Hill is home to three separate pools and two golf courses, allowing ample space for social distancing.

  • Enhanced Cleaning: We have implemented additional cleaning procedures throughout the resort to thoroughly disinfect all areas with a key focus on high-touch surfaces using EPA approved hospital-grade disinfectants and electrostatic misters on surfaces and fabrics.
  • Guest Accessible Hand Sanitizer: Multiple touch-free hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed around key guest areas, including our lobby, meeting rooms and other public spaces.
  • Dining Menus: Available via the Pelican Hill mobile app, with a QR code or as a single-use printed menu.
  • Digital Materials: In-room print materials have been replaced with digital alternatives. Download the new Pelican Hill mobile app for Resort information or view an online Resort Compendium and Dining Menus via a QR code or the guest room television.
  • “Pelican Peace of Mind” Room Tags: As an extra measure of assurance we have placed room tags on doors, bathroom amenities, and remote controls to indicate that your room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned. 
  • “Pelican Peace of Mind” Personal Wellness Kit: Upon check-in each guest will receive an amenity bag including disinfecting wipes.
  • Enhanced Cleaning: We have elevated our rigorous cleaning of each guest room to thoroughly disinfect all high-touch surfaces with EPA approved hospital-grade disinfectants. These areas include countertops, light switches, electronic controls, doorknobs and handles, bathroom surfaces, faucets, bed and bath amenities, and closets. Please note that to minimize associate access to your guest room, daily turndown service is not offered at this time.
  • Digital Materials: In-room print materials have been replaced with digital alternatives. Download the new Pelican Hill mobile app for Resort information or view an online Resort Compendium and Dining Menus via a QR code or the guest room television.
  • Going Digital: Use of electronic sales kits and virtual site tours when possible.
  • Safe Spacing: Room set-ups and capacities have been adjusted to allow for physical distancing practices.
  • Enhanced Cleaning: Additional cleaning procedures have been implemented in all public spaces and meeting rooms with increased frequency and an emphasis on all high-touch surfaces using EPA approved hospital-grade disinfectants and electrostatic misters on surfaces and fabrics.
  • Open-Air Venues: Whenever possible, venues with direct outdoor access are encouraged for meetings and networking events. 
  • “Pelican Peace of Mind” Personal Amenity Kit: All meeting attendees will receive an individual amenity bag with notepad, pen, mints, sanitizing wipe and face mask.
  • Guest Accessible Hand Sanitizer: Multiple touch-free hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed around key guest areas including meeting rooms and other public spaces.
  • Staggered Schedules: To minimize congestion, meeting times and break schedules will be staggered.
  • Individual Meals: Our culinary team developed individually packaged food & beverage offerings and contactless buffet menus that celebrate Pelican Hill’s passion for seasonally inspired cuisine.
  • Audio Visual: Technicians will wear personal protective equipment and follow a strict protocol of equipment cleaning and disinfection before and following guest.
  • Reservations Required: Due to limited tee-times reservations are required.
  • Guest Accessible Hand Sanitizer: Multiple touch-free hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed around the clubhouse, as well as the restrooms and the locker rooms. 
  • Enhanced Cleaning: An enhanced schedule of servicing, sanitizing, and cleaning all public areas includes high-touch surfaces such as door frames, doorknobs, handles, elevator push buttons, and rails. Golf carts will be cleaned using EPA registered disinfectants approved for use against COVID-19 before and after each use. 
  • New Training: All resort associates have participated in robust training to ensure stringent health and safety standards while continuing to deliver unmatched guest service. 
  • Temperature Checks: All resort associates are required to pass a temperature check prior to entering the Resort.

The first hotel globally to earn the Verified Healthy Buildings Mark for Indoor Air and Hygiene from UL, the global safety science leader.

The Resort recently underwent an extensive process to earn the verification, demonstrating that both front and back of house have excellent indoor air quality (IAQ) and hygiene. To achieve the UL Verification Mark, the hotel participated in numerous desktop audits and on-site IAQ performance testing and assessment of the air handling units, hygiene testing and air quality tests. Achieving the UL Verified Healthy Buildings Mark demonstrates our commitment to maintain service excellence while investing in programs that keep our guests and hard-working associates safe.
